My favorite restaurants ... walking distance.    

There are literally 100's of restaurant choices within walking distance. YELP can be your friend in making decisions. Here are a few of mine that are walk-able:

Starbucks ($-$$) Exit building and LEFT head to Kalakaua  for long block ... to corner of ‘OHUA Street. Starbucks is inside the Marriott, next to the Honolulu Cookie Company on the corner.  

There is another location (also left) on the corner of Kapahulu and Kalakaua ... on the way to 12 Coconuts!  Each has 3-4 stars on Yelp

Lulus' ($$) Good for Breakfast & Lunch (better than Cheeseburger in Paradise any day!!) Keep walking past Starbucks and it is on the corner of Kapahulu Ave and Kalakaua Ave, 2nd floor. On your way to ... or from... 12 coconuts!  3.5 stars on Yelp

MAC 24/7 ($$) is a 24 hour Restaurant located in the Hilton Waikiki Beach on Kuhio ... turn RIGHT once you leave my drive way and you are looking at the Hilton. Short walk. Everything on this page is a short walk.  Home of "Man vs. Food" Pancake Challenge.  3.5 Stars on Yelp  (Modern American Cuisine = MAC)

Momosan Waikiki, located in the Alohilani Hotel, turn right when you get to Kalakaua ... ground floor ... good appetizers.  Ramen, Tapas/small plates, Izakaya  4 Stars on Yelp.  

PS- I am not a fan of Morimoto Asia Waikiki in same building $$$ but it does have 4 stars on Yelp as well.

You will also find 

"The Street Food Hall by Michael Mina" $$ 3 .5 stars on Yelp on the ground floor ... I hear the taco place is great and cheap

My favorites on 3rd floor :  

Flour and Barley - Brick Oven Pizza, 4 Stars on Yelp ($-$$). 

Also HerringboneWaikiki American, Seafood 4 stars on Yelp($$$).  

If you walk down Dukes Lane, next to the Waikiki Beachcomber By Outrigger hotel (2300 Kalakaua) - and before California Pizza Kitchen - turn right and at the end of the lane, on the right ... 

2299 KUHIO AVENUE ... 

is the new PAIA FISH MARKET WAIKIKI. Great fish tacos ($-$$)  4.5 stars on Yelp

On the 21st floor of the Waikiki Business Plaza and H&M Building is a revolving steakhouse restaurant ... Top of Waikiki ($$$) 5 stars on Yelp

I have had meals there that rival Hy's Steakhouse for a lot less money.

Also Coco Cove, a convenience store on ground floor ($) for deli type service and quick eats.  HUGE selection of poke.  4 stars on Yelp

Across the street from H&M (corner of Kalakaua and Seaside) and up the escalator is:

Island Vintage Coffee 4.5 Stars on Yelp ($$) for great breakfast and lunch food, coffee and tea and 

Wolfgang's Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener has 3.4 Stars on Yelp ($$$) that has great specials and not to be confused with Wolfgang Puck's.  Great Hamburger and bar bites.  

 ON the other side of the street from The International Marketplace, and Inside the Outrigger hotel is world famous DUKES($$). Hawaiian, Seafood, Salad Bar and the great Hula Pie for dessert!  4 Stars on Yelp

For entertainment: Check out who is performing at BLUE NOTE HAWAII. Awesome live entertainment venue. http://www.bluenotehawaii.com/   Food can run good to bad $$$ 4 Starts on Yelp

GROCERY STORE:  SAFEWAY - 888 Kapahulu Avenue and open 24 hours ...3.5 Stars $$
